Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Conveys materials and items from storage area to other designated areas.Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style color or product codeSorts and stores perishable foods in refrigerated rooms.Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.Assembles orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.Opens bales, crates, and other containers.Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.Arranges stock parts in specified sequence.Uses computers to enter records.Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.Compiles worksheets from customer specifications.Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or pick up items from several locations for shipment.Prepares parcels for mailing.Maintains inventory records.Performs special projects and tasks as assigned.Adheres to all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments and/or job functions.QUALIFICATIONS:

Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.Must be able to work independentlyAbility to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.Must be able to obtain a required Virginia Lottery Gaming License.PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting, reaching, climbing steps, and sitting are required.Must be able to lift to 70 pounds.Must be able to maneuver on level surfaces with merchandise as well as up and down stairs. Must be able to continuously push and pull heavy materials up to 100 pounds.Must be able to maneuver throughout the shops, casino and hotel areas to deliver items.Must be able to reach below and above the shoulders, bend, stoop, crouch and kneel.Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.Must possess the manual dexterity and coordination to operate standard warehousing equipment including carts, dollies and labeling gun, forklift, pallet jacks.Must be able to handle more than one function at a time accurately by being well organized and paying close attention to detail.Must be capable of responding to visual and aural cues.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
