The

Senior Business Analyst

provides exceptional customer service and operational support by effectively and efficiently manages sales and inventory for the company and assigned customers. This person will work with existing data sets to help the account management team derive insights and develop strategies that grow the business across various customers. Done thru interacting and communicating with internal teams and external customers, utilizing customer portals and internal systems and knowledge to effectively estimate future demand. He/ She will also manage the flow of work and administrative tasks within the network to expedite / manage customer orders and escalate delays when needed to maximize efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage daily customer support including processing orders, changes & returns, reviewing open orders, tracking status of orders, onboarding new customers.Manage item/customer level forecasting process using external and internal data.Deliver weekly sales performance overview by customer to network.Improve business results by identifying problems, finding opportunities and developing solutions related to inventory management internally and externally.Collaborate with internal sales and cross functional team members and external partners.Integrate information from disparate sources of data and identify key insights and opportunities.Drive analytical, fact-based consulting around key sales initiatives.Develop & delivery timely, analytical, fact-based reporting and insights around key sales initiatives.Draw conclusions from data and summarize into clear recommendations to drive growth and improve efficiencies.Maintain strong customer relationships, acting as an extension of our sales team.Coordinate with other departments such as Sales, Purchasing, BI, Warehouse operations and other departments as needed to mitigate delays and facilitate prompt customer responses.Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both written and oral with external customers and internal teammates.Manage all work queues including phone, emails, production & EDI as required by network.Review, update and process program sheets as needed.Execute item setup and maintenance internally and thru external customer portals as required by network.Prepare and submit project forms to warehouse when necessary.Effectively & proactively provide solutions to customers when item configuration, supply or order issues arise.Demonstrate proficiency in Outdoor Cap systems, strong computer knowledge, typing ability and MS Office tools, utilizing multiple programs fluently to do daily assigned work.Acts with strong ethical integrity in all situations, upholding the company’s Mission, Vision, and Value Statements.Skills and Specifications

Strong time management, problem solving, and business acumen skills to execute workload efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-facing service environment.Critical thinkings skills and strong attention to detail.Ability to establish and maintain business partner relationships and act as liaison between internal teams and external customers.Strong work ethic and communication skills with demonstrated flexibility under pressure to meet tight deadlines.Demonstrates curiosity, resourcefulness, creativity, initiative and cooperation.Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools, PowerBI, Outlook, Teams/IM, and aptitude to quickly learn new systems. Prior experience with Exenta, QuickTurn, Magento, PDS, PowerApps and Salesforce is a plus.Strong working knowledge of retailer platforms such as Retail Link, Luminate, and Vendor Net.Education and Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree or +5 equivalent working experience in CPGExperience

3-5 years in CPGSupervisory

The person in this position frequently communicates with customers and must be able to exchange accurate information and engage in conflict resolution strategies when needed.Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated) 80% of the day and occasionally reach, bend and move inside the office to access files and product.Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks and operate other office machinery.Able to hear and effectively communicate with peers.Able to hear a telephone ring.Able to move 10-20 lbs occasionally throughout the day.
