The Student Health and Wellness (SHW) Marketing team is currently seeking a Student Social Media Assistant to join their team of professionals. The Marketing Unit for Student Health & Wellness (SHW) is looking for an intrinsically motivated student who possesses graphic design knowledge, video/audio editing skills, and a desire to grow and learn more about the profession.Student candidate should expect to work on a variety of projects with diverse deadlines in a fast paced, fun environment.The position is supervised by the Social Media Manager.Duties include:
Work closely with the social media manager to follow calendar and aid in content creation for social media.Assist with analytics collection for social media accounts.Participate in brainstorming sessions with the SHW marketing team.Assist with the design and production of multimedia projects including videos, podcasts and print/digital materials.Assist with presentations/orientations as needed.Perform office administrative tasks such as basic data entry, filing papers, making copies, running errands, assembling promotional giveaway packages, etc.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of Adobe, After Effects, and Premiere.Customer Service Knowledge.Basic Level of Microsoft Word Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc).Ability to take direction and work independently as needed.Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information.Ability to work in a team setting.Job Category

Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at FIU with a minimum of six (6) credits as an Undergraduate student or three (3) credits as a Graduate student during the Fall and Spring semesters.During the Summer semesters, Students need only remain enrolled and are not required to take credit hours, but cannot have graduated.Upon decreasing credit hours or graduating, student employment must end.Work Schedule
This is a part-time position for 20 hours per week.Office Hours 8:00am - 5:00pm (final schedule to be determined with the candidate).This position may require travel to different FIU locations, some evening hours, and occasional weekends.Advertised Salary
