A law firm in Newark, NJ, is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to lead a dynamic team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload involving slip and falls, mass torts, catastrophic injuries, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, negligence, and more. With the opportunity to lead a team of 3 litigation paralegals and 1 pre-litigation legal assistant, this role requires a candidate with some prior experience in personal injury law.Duties
Lead and supervise a team of 3 litigation paralegals and 1 pre-litigation legal assistant.Manage a caseload of 150 personal injury cases, including slip and falls, mass torts, catastrophic injuries, car accidents, motorcycle accidents, negligence, etc.Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.Collaborate with clients, medical professionals, and experts to build strong cases.Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New Jersey State Bar and in good standing.Some experience in personal injury law is required.Strong organizational and leadership skills.Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently.Detail-oriented with a focus on providing excellent client service.Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and develop the legal team.
