Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Management Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing all aspects of logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Directly supports program managers performing tasking associated with clinical engineering, hospital facility management, environmental services or acquisition projectsPrepares integrated logistic plans and policy and procedures for logistic support for major healthcare systemsEnsures that proper logistic considerations are included in the system development processes at each major milestone. Performs analyses to determine system maintainability, reliability, and supportability requirementsDocuments results of the analyses in a report format. Develops systems maintenance concepts and plans and lifecycle supply requirements and processes to meet supply requirementsPerforms cost analysis associated with systems logistic support and develops and reviews systems acquisition projects' operating plans and procedures to ensure logistic support considerations are includedQualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Knowledge and proficiency in the use of systems such as DMLSS, GCSS-A, AESIP, and TEWLSKnowledge of cataloging and creating NSNsRequesting new NSNsSourcing initiatives with DLAMonitored orders through DLAExperience updating BOMs (Billing of Material)DoD Acquisition experience criticalWorking knowledge and experience with DMLSS, JMAR, GCSS-A, and TEWLSProficiency with MS Office Suite, including MS TeamsStrong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles and practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in logistics software and toolsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of industry regulations and compliance standardsKnowledge and experience with DoD Acquisition ProcessesMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.Minimum 7 to 9 years' experience providing logistic support for major systems.DAU Course certifications are helpful.Able to obtain CAC.Previous experience with the Department of Defense.

The salary for this position is a maximum of $100,000.00 annually.
