Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday)

Pay: $25.50 - $26.50 (based on experience)

# of interviews: 1-2 (based on whether or not a recruiter is asked to conduct a phone interview or not)

Job Purpose:

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Intercompany Transfer Driver transports parts along a defined route. Additionally, this individual will have assigned warehouse based responsibilities geared towards supporting the organization's parts operation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Transport product on defined routes: Ensuring timely and reliable delivery of parts along designated routes, honoring commitments to customers and stakeholders by delivering products on schedule.Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicles: Demonstrating a commitment to safety and reliability by ensuring that vehicles are in good working order before each trip, honoring the commitment to safe transportation practices.Create Positive Experiences:

Perform material handling responsibilities: Ensuring careful and efficient handling of products during loading and unloading, contributing to positive experiences for customers by minimizing the risk of damage and ensuring the quality of delivered goods.Engage in all assigned learning modules: Embracing opportunities for personal and professional development, contributing to a positive work culture by continually improving skills and knowledge.Foster Lifelong Learning:

Perform various warehouse responsibilities: Showing initiative and adaptability by taking on additional warehouse responsibilities when not assigned to driving routes, exhibiting a pioneering spirit by contributing in diverse roles to support organizational goals.Demonstrate Good Stewardship:

Inspect bills of lading for accuracy: Exercising responsibility and accountability in documentation practices, ensuring accuracy and integrity in load-related documentation, demonstrating good stewardship of company resources.Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations: Taking responsibility for reporting any issues or incidents promptly, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining the safety and integrity of company vehicles and operations.The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the principle and essential functions of the position and shall not be construed as the only duties that may be assigned for the position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum three years' experience driving tractor trailers requiredMust be at least 25 years oldValid driver's license required; Class A CDL requiredAbility to adhere to established safe driving guidelines.Ability to use equipment such as forklift and pallet jack to load trucks, and remain certified to operate all such equipment.Ability to perform all tasks in a safe manner, following all safety rules and guidelines.Ability to Drive: Day or Night Routes.Ability to work safely & well with othersDependable and reliable attendance required.
