The primary objectives and responsibilities of a Content Writer includes:
Write content for blogs, white papers, email campaigns, webinars and events, videos, social posts, etc. This includes assisting with topic ideation and setting a strategic cadence of content;
Speak with and interview subject matter experts to better understand and translate the subject being written about;
Circulate content through proper approval channels and communicate with key stakeholders;
Work closely with the Content Marketing Manager to brainstorm and develop ideas for content gaps, ensuring content assets align with other marketing efforts to support quarterly themes;
Work closely with creative to layout assets once written and final;
Write, proofread and edit creative and technical content across different mediums;
Draft promotional content for live and virtual events/webinars;
Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts;
Other duties as assigned from the wider marketing team.
What you’ll bring to the table:Previous hands-on experience in content writing, with a diverse portfolio of samples, ideally with a focus on B2B SaaS solutions;
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, English or related major, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education;
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
A highly collaborative approach;
Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize tasks and projects;
Strong prioritization, organization and project management skills;
Experience using marketing automation tools, like HubSpot, Monday.com, Miro.com, Microsoft Office would be highly advantageous;
A natural insight into personas and how to create compelling content to reach target audiences.
