We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Setup Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about precision, detail-oriented, and enjoys problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CNC machine set-ups, including 3, 4, and 5 axis machining, as well as CNC lathe machining. Responsibilities:

1. Setting up and operating CNC machines, including 3, 4, and 5 axis machining, and CNC lathe machining.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, planning sheets, and GD&T to meet product specifications.
3. Making necessary adjustments to CNC machines to ensure accuracy of the machined parts.
4. Troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
5. Performing regular maintenance on machines to ensure their longevity and reliability.
6. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve product quality.
7. Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years experience as a CNC Setup Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in setting up and operating 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines, as well as CNC lathe machines.
3. Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprints, and planning sheets.
4. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions.
5. Excellent attention to detail and precision.
6. Good communication and teamwork skills.
7. A strong commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certificate in a relevant field is preferred.
10. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods.
