The Supplier Quality Engineer is to interface with Suppliers and Drive Automotive workforce to ensure customer requirements and product quality are met. Interface with all aspects of the plant to ensure the cost of quality is being met as it relates to supplier quality.The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible to ensure that the

Customer, People, and Investor goals are met and in balance.Your Responsibilities

Prepare documentation and provide support for new program part launches and process changes through working knowledge of quality system methods and engineering principles (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Engineering Changes etc.)Schedule, coordinate and report to a cross-functional team meeting to address any supplier related concerns internal or external.Interface with plant quality & manufacturing to ensure all suppliers are adhering to the Drive supplier quality requirements.Responsible to ensure all suppliers adhere to Drive Automotive Industries corrective actions request (on time closures, repeat concerns, root cause, etc.) through Drive Automotive Supplier Portal QPF System.Responsible for meeting supplier rating targets as it relates to the KPI’s for Supplier Quality.Conduct product audits to verify stability of supplied parts from suppliers are met.Onsite supplier visits to address quality issues to ensure Drive Automotive Industries satisfaction is met. Must be able to travel when required.Who we are looking for

KNOWLEDGEEDUCATION:4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldTECHNICAL TRAINING:Able to read technical drawings and standards as it relates to the manufacturing process.DMAIC, 8D, Six Sigma or other problem-solving methodologyYour preferred qualifications

5 years’ work-related experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong root cause analysis ability that is data driven giving clear and concise conclusions.Able to read technical drawings and standards as it relates to the manufacturing process.Automotive / Stamping / Quality Assurance / Supplier Development is an advantage.What we offer
