Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Manager to lead a team of data analysts to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for managing data projects, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of data analysts to ensure high performance and professional growth
Establish the data & process foundation for product and general analytics at Harvey
Partner with Product, Exec Team, GTM, & Finance and oversee the design, development, and implementation of data models, reports, and dashboards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs and formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables, and presentations
Partner with engineering to define data schemas, data models, and make technology decisions
Analyze and synthesize competitive dynamics and customer insights to highlight opportunities to improve our business
Qualifications
5-9+ years of experience in an analytics focused role - analytics engineer, data engineer or analyst / consultant with a strong engineering background,
with at least 2-3+ years of experience managing data analytics teams
Expert at answering product questions & crafting narratives with data
Expert with SQL, dbt, Python, and other common analytics tools
Eager to move fast & drive impact — you’d rather build an imperfect data model quickly that is used by many people than a perfect data model that collects dust
Expertise at both defining the right metrics as well as diagnosing and understanding data inconsistencies
Strong communication with the ability to build meaningful stakeholder relationships
Ability to thrive in ambiguous cross-functional projects across Product, GTM, and Finance
Big picture thinking while still delivering on the details
Experience in a B2B / commercial environment
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use an in-person work model and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
