We champion the personal approach to customer service that NFU Mutual are famous for.An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Stamford Agency.About the role:Due to continued growth of the Stamford Agency, we have an exciting opportunity for a Farming & Agricultural Sales Executive focused on farming and commercial insurance within the Stamford Agency.As a Farming Sales Executive, you’ll play an important role driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs. You’ll be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of customers and attracting new customers. The focus will be upon our suite of Farming and Commercial products and service.At the core of our approach lies the cultivation of strong relationships and the practice of cross-selling to ensure our customers receive tailored services that align perfectly with their needs. This commitment is reflected in our exceptional customer retention rate, with over 96% of customers choosing to renew their insurance with us annually.About you:Highly motivated self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude. You use your face-to-face sales experience to consistently achieve retention and sales targets. Committed to learning and development and ready for the challenge of being part of a team, you’ll thrive in this working environment. Ideally to apply for this role you should have:• Live within a commutable distance to the Stamford Agency• Passionate about rural living and agriculture• Existing sales experience, especially agricultural/farming or commercial related.• Experience of working in a face-to-face customer environment and holding client meetings• Experience prospecting for new clients and developing your own customer acquisition plans• Effective negotiation skills• Network & Customer Relationship building skills• Full UK Drivers licenseWhen you join our team,you can expecta supportive positive cultureandanattractive range ofrewards and benefitsincluding:• Commission split bonus scheme for new policies sold• Car allowance• Pension scheme contributions• Contractually we offer 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
