Our platform is a combination of microservices and a large-scale data pipeline with billions of points of sale transaction data from major retailers.About the PositionReports to: Head of EngineeringLocation: Menlo Park, CABridg is seeking to expand our team that owns a highly scalable data integration and transformation platform. You will be creating and building the platform that includes ingestion and transformation of data, data governance, machine learning, analytics, and consumer insights.Minimum QualificationsBA/BS Degree in computer science or related field.Strong object-oriented programming, preferably Java.Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.Willingness to learn new skills and work in a collaborative environment.Self-starter with excellent communication skills, written and spoken.Preferred QualificationsExperience with AWS tools and frameworks is a plus.Big data experience, building systems for high performance and scale is a plus.Experience with databases and data warehousing technologies.Core ValuesOur shared values are the driving force behind everything we do. Individual compensation may be determined by relevant skills, experience, education, training, and other role-specific criteria. This salary range will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of the aforementioned factors.
