Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.CHRIS 180 Migrant Wellness Program provides 24-hour care for unaccompanied children (UC) under the care of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) who are placed in residential care as they prepare for sponsorship. The program provides stabilization, behavioral support, comprehensive case management, educational services, daily living skills acquisition, recreational and therapeutic activities, and coordination of care. The Migrant Wellness Program provides a family-involved, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to care within residential communities throughout the Atlanta area.The Program Director is primarily responsible for overall management of the programmatic, administrative, financial, and operational systems related to the provision of care and services. The Program Director is also accountable for enhancing public relations, fundraising, and strategic planning efforts. In this role, it is essential to maintain program efficiency and compliance and communicate effectively with key stakeholders. This position is expected to function effectively with minimal supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, state, and federal regulatory requirements. The position will require extensive knowledge of the policies of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).Role and Responsibilities:The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Provide supervision, either directly or indirectly, for all TFC and TGH program staff including residential staff, medical staff, case management staff, education staff and clinical staff. Provide weekly individual and team supervision to staff.Train staff in the reunification process and ensure staff are following ORR and Migrant Wellness policies and procedures and state licensing requirements.Oversee staff and client caseloads to ensure quality service is delivered in accordance with changing work demands, agency standards, and licensing requirements.Participate in weekly case staffing meetings and resident meetings with all provider and licensing agencies as scheduled.Meet weekly with Lead Clinician, Lead Case Manager and Lead Youth Care Worker to be updated on client treatment and service plans and to provide consultation and direction as needed.Oversee compliance with the policies and procedures that govern annual employee evaluations, employee leave requests, conference requests, timesheet management, and monthly reimbursement invoices.Assist in the development, update, and maintenance of program operating manuals.Maintain, enhance, and develop positive relationships with referral sources, state and federal agencies, and volunteer and community agencies.Ensure effective operations through selection, training, and orientation of new staff.Participate in audits and licensing events.Ensure compliance with audit and licensing results and requirements.Manage intake and referral process.Participate in on-call rotation.Attend local and national meetings that will enhance provision of services to UC.Ensure adequate coverage, staffing ratios and availability of services.Oversee and provide budgetary management of all federal and program specific budgets.Oversee the timely submission and preparation of documentation for services and funding opportunities.Prepare and manage all reporting requirements as stipulated by the contract with ORR and Migrant Wellness.Maintain current knowledge of child welfare concerns, refugee and immigrant updates, internal and external issues, legislative trends, and best practices.Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with contractors, referral sources and partner agencies.Manage and monitor revenue and expenditures in accordance with agency policies and expectations.Qualifications/Competencies:Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.Two or more years of experience in program management or as director of a licensed childcare program.Master’s degree in social work or an equivalent degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science degree; or a bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years experience in child welfare administration, child protective services.Must possess the administrator’s license for the care provider's facilities.Must pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries.Ability to collaborate with others, including program leadership, clinical staff, case management staff, education team members, residential staff, medical staff, and external stakeholders.Able to ensure timely provision of reports and information to ORR regarding operations, services, and finances.Ability to practice cultural sensitivity and work effectively with diverse populations.Ability to be flexible with working hours and on-call responsibilities.Excellent organizational, leadership, and time management skills.Excellent writing and communication skills.Computer skills adequate to perform essential functions (using the UC Portal, Microsoft Office, and any internal case management software).Schedule:

On-SiteThe hours will vary from week to week with a maximum of 40 hours a week at any given time unless written permission is given otherwise.
