Professional Geotechnical Engineer

to join our growing Geotechnical and Infrastructure Practice in our

Seattle, WA

office. Aspect's geotechnical engineers tackle challenges on a variety of complex projects all over the northwest.

Geotechnical Engineers at Aspect regularly interface directly with clients, execute work through the full project lifecycle from proposals to construction, guide innovative geotechnical designs, and mentor junior staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Work directly with Aspect geotechnical engineers to support clients and technically challenging projects.

Prepare proposals and budgets for new projects.

Plan and coordinate subsurface exploration programs.

Perform geotechnical engineering analyses and calculations.

Prepare written geotechnical reports.

Manage project schedules, scopes of work, and financial aspects.

Develop new opportunities with existing clients.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams.

Coordinate and oversee construction oversight programs.

Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.

Education and Licensure

Bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university with geotechnical engineering coursework. (required)

Professional Engineer's License in the State of Washington or ability to obtain it within 6 months of starting.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

At least 5 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience. (required)

A minimum of 1 to 2 years of project management experience. (preferred)

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. (required)

Ability to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions. (required)

Ability to travel long distances and accommodate occasional overnight travel. (required)

Valid U.S. Driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. (required)

Below are the potential compensation ranges applicable for this role in Washington:

Minimum Salary: $93,875

Maximum Salary: $122,040
