ABOUT THIS ROLE The Associate Director of Global Publisher and Partner Strategy is a crucial role responsible for developing, planning, executing, and overseeing a number of multifaceted projects that have impacts on Audible’s publisher and independent creator relationships. We’re looking for an experienced candidate with a proven ability to develop and bring to execution partnership strategies. You will work with various departments across the business and with multiple teams across all of Audible’s marketplaces to help execute on the strategies you have helped to design. Through your deep knowledge of our business and understanding of partner relationships, the implementation of your strategies will help put in place structures and deals that further our partnerships and content offerings and drive Audible’s growth into the future. We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including in publisher and partner strategy. As an Associate Director Global Publisher and Partner Strategy, you will... Develop the vision and end-to-end global strategy for identifying, establishing, maintaining, and growing relationships with publishers, authors, and content creators worldwide. Be accountable for the delivery of the annual Global Publisher and Partner three-year plan. Align on the Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX) service model; who we serve, what service is provided to achieve growth, and how partners are incentivized. Establish consistent processes globally by collaborating with regional teams to ensure consistent global strategies and deal making, while adapting to local market dynamics and cultural nuances. Be responsible for developing and implementing Global Publisher performance metrics, OKRs, MBRs, and reporting. Serve as a partner and trusted consultant to cross-functional teams in areas including Content, Product, Marketing, Insights, Finance & Strategy. Drive the growth of Audible’s business on behalf of publishers, including business management in support of Audible org goals around revenue and engagement. Produce stack-ranked set of publisher priorities to influence product requirements, roadmap decisions, and trade-offs. Track and monitor new Audible features and offerings that drive partner opportunities, and package for external talking points. For more information, please visit adbl.co/hybrid. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree. 5+ years of experience in a strategy and planning role. Additionally, you should have: Extensive knowledge of the global publishing landscape, including key players, trends, and industry dynamics. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven analytical, financial, and strategic thinking abilities, with a talent for identifying opportunities and developing innovative solutions. Proven writing capabilities for creating written reports and presentation materials for senior executives which communicate financial analysis, strategic perspective, and drive toward a recommendation.
