Litigation Associate - Health Care

Amundsen Davis seeks a litigation associate to join its established Health Care practice group located in Chicago for defense trial practice representing hospitals and medical professionals in professional liability/medical malpractice lawsuits. Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of medical malpractice, long-term care litigation experience. Excellent skills in written and oral communication, legal and factual analysis, negotiation, and advocacy are expected. Some local travel required.Responsibilities:Taking and defending depositionsConducting written discovery and researchDrafting pleadings and motionsParticipating in trial preparationRepresenting clients in courtPlease submit a resume, cover letter, law school transcript and two writing samples.
