Job Description
Overview
BlueWater Federal is looking for a Training Specialist to support FEMA.100% remoteFEMA requires additional digital communication services to implement user-friendly and accessible updates to FEMA.gov and the FEMA App that improve the customer experience (CX) and ensure clear communication about agency initiatives being rolled out in 2024.
Responsibilities
Conduct content audits of existing training information on all of FEMA's training programs that reside on FEMA.gov, training.fema.gov, FirstResponderTraining.gov, and cdp.dhs.gov.Audit results should clearly identify areas of duplicative information, conflicting information.Ensure all web content is accessible, meeting or exceeding Section 508 standards.Ensure all web development meets current federal, DHS and FEMA IT security standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, Web Development, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.4+ years of training experience.Basic understanding of HTML required to upload and style content into FEMA.gov website.Must have or be eligible for a High-risk Public Trust; US Citizenship required.BlueWater Federal Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
