ResponsibilitiesProject objectives will encompass performance, reliability, and manufacturing goals. The Device Engineer will also be responsible for assuring successful transfer and maintenance of new technologies in manufacturing. The work contributes meaningfully to the manufacture of the compound semiconductor IC's driving Keysight's multi-billion-dollar electronic test and measurement business. This is a hands-on engineering role bridging technology and process engineering.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Define, implement, and improve semiconductor device processes for microwave and mmWave applicationsPartner with process and product engineers, technicians, and customers across functions to meet project deliverablesDefine material, process, and device performance targetsDevelop and characterize new devices, components, and vehicle circuits

QualificationsThis position requires access to certain goods, software, technology, or technical data subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations. Employment in this position for non-U.S. persons is contingent on Keysight's ability to obtain any required government authorizations.M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience5+ years of proven experience with advanced semiconductor processes and devices is requiredSpecific skills in III-V device physics and processing are highly desirableKnowledge of transistors (HBT, HEMT) is desiredExperience with statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE) is desiredCandidates must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills for successful inter and intra-group interactions.Strong accountability, self-initiative, and proactive attitude are requiredSanta Rosa, CA Pay range: MIN $143,000.00 - MAX $238,000.00
