Senior Consultants

who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders to clarify requirements and support delivery of effective solutions; applying technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; developing and strengthening domain knowledge and maintaining an accurate understanding of Cognizant’s industry propositions and consulting capabilities; supporting business development activities of senior leaders; contributing to the development of practice initiatives or new service offerings; and being an inspiring colleague, promoting team motivation, partnership, and ownership for projects.ResponsibilitiesA hands-on development and documentation of business requirements for system enhancements and operational changes.Analyze current ETF administration processes and identify areas for improvement and efficiency.Assist in developing and managing product roadmap, driving prioritization of features while balancing customer and business impacts.Collaborate with IT and operational teams to implement process improvements and automation solutions.Support the strategic initiatives of the client’s ETF product offerings.Requirements documentation and modeling operational processes in detail.Collaborate with other analysts, product owners, technology specialists in a multi-vendor environment to work towards issue resolution.Understand business requirements and perform data analysis and compile data gaps and review with business.Able to design functional flow and data flow diagrams to articulate requirements.Clearly communicate business priorities to partners in tech, design, and controls.Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience, with additional certifications such as CFA/ FRM preferred, but not mandatory.Minimum 7 years of business analysis experience in Capital markets, trading applications, securities lending, securities finance within banking and financial services industry.Experience of working in programs involving US ETF Administration - daily operations of Exchange traded fund (ETF) products, index funds, investment funds, including order processing, trade settlements, and reconciliations, creation and redemption processes.Familiarity with processes involving coordination with NSCC, custodians, fund accountants, and transfer agents to maintain operational efficiency.Proficient in Agile methodologies.Demonstrated experience problem solving and developing products from scratch.Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading execution in an agile delivery model.Ability to handle ambiguity and white space.Chicago preferred but open to other locations on case-to-case basis.Ability to travel when needed for a project.Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes.The embodiment of Cognizant’s Core Values of: Start with a point of view; Seek data, build knowledge; Always strive, never settle; Work as one; Create conditions for everyone to thrive; Do the right thing, the right way.Work AuthorizationCognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)BenefitsCognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off, 401(k) plan and contributions, Long-term/Short-term Disability, Paid Parental Leave, Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Disclaimer:
