Payzerware provides complete business management including schedule/dispatch, invoicing, sales proposals, and maintenance agreements. It also enables a full range of payment and financing solutions, which further help contractors decrease outstandings, generate more revenue per job, and save time.How you'll make an impact:The Director of Sales will serve as a key leader within the Payzer division, responsible for developing the strategic direction for Payzer’s Sales teams and implementing processes and procedures to support growth. This leadership role will partner closely with the Payzer Division General Manager, the Head of Revenue & Partnerships (and company Founder), and the Director of Operations to scale go-to-market capabilities and support the ongoing integration into the wider WEX organization. The Director of Sales will also oversee Payzer’s Sales Managers and will have ownership of the Payzer sales funnel. This opportunity offers the ability to make an immediate direct impact on key organizational processes instrumental in accelerating the growth of the Payzer division. The team is looking for a seasoned sales leader with a proven ability to motivate and lead a team of sales professionals and a track record of driving revenue growth across go-to-market channels.Key Responsibilities:Enable strategic go-to-market planning, manage the lead pipeline, and execute on sales initiatives:Work with the Director of Operations to diagnose problems/challenges with the current sales and customer care processes and develop tactics and action plans to implement change.Establish sales organization structure.Identify areas of opportunity and process improvements to enable best practices and execute successful rollout alongside key stakeholders.Support structured go-to-market tracking/reporting capabilities and provide insight/recommendations to drive overall organizational strategy.Utilize data analysis and market research to develop strategies and tactics to grow the business and manage the sales pipeline.Support design and stand up of an updated Salesforce instance to align with Payzer and WEX go-to-market operating model and procedures.Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes.Assist in developing training to support execution of sales and customer care processes.Lead and develop sales training to enable adoption of new processes.Lead sales function and manage sales teams:Oversee the Payzer sales function, lead and mentor a team of Sales Managers, and grow sales capabilities as the business expands.Partner with Human Relations to evaluate, update, and manage the sales team commissions plan.Own the overall sales funnel and provide forecasts on customer acquisition.Foster a culture of accountability, perseverance, and professionalism.Collaborate across internal teams to enable execution of planned initiatives, including marketing, product development, customer service, and data.Provide regular reports to the Payzer leadership and WEX executive team on sales progress/strategies.Set, support, and monitor sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).Experience you'll bring:Minimum of 8 years sales management experience with a track record of delivering results.Experience selling SaaS or payments software products.Proven leadership experience directing staff resources, including business development staff, sales support, and/or other business resources.Experience developing and implementing go-to-market processes especially across various channels including cross-sell opportunities.Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze commercial data.Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal direct supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Ability to lead and work alongside cross-functional teams, including IT and customer service.Demonstrated customer-focused negotiation skills.Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.Demonstrated proficiency in Google Suite including Sheets, Slides, Docs, Gmail, Hangouts.Willingness to travel as required.Must pass a successful background investigation.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the field services management industry specifically with HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical trades.Ability to design and operationalize automated solutions for complex business problems including leveraging AI solutions.Experience utilizing and designing Salesforce instances to align with formal business processes.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
