Portfolio Analyst
who will
facilitate decisions and analysis of all types of credit information to support lending decisions and processes for the bank .
Maintains and promotes a client service environment to satisfy and exceed customer needs and expectations.
Make credit decisions and recommendations following sound credit-granting principles and in compliance with Bank Policies and Procedures.

in the related field of study
Work Experience
Typically, 2-3 years of relevant experience
or an acceptable combination of education and experience
BMO Credit Qualification within 1 year of assignment
Duties/Responsibilities
Acts timely, efficiently, and independently, taking ownership of client satisfaction.
Analyzes financial information, tax returns, credit bureau reports, and other related materials
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
Facilitates decision and analysis of all types of credit information to support lending decisions and processes for the bank.
Make credit decisions or recommendations following sound credit-granting principles and compliance with Bank Policies and Procedures
Minimizes BMO’s risk exposure by adhering to internal credit policies and procedures concerning lending decisions.
Partners with internal stakeholders for accurate, detailed client information.
Thinks creatively and proposes new solutions.
With minimal oversight, perform collateral margining verification calculations to determine borrowing base availability
With minimal oversight, perform financial covenant compliance calculations within the assigned portfolio to identify deteriorating credit conditions and compliance with the loan agreement
Works mostly independently.
