Senior Director is responsible for strategic leadership of institutional efforts toward civil rights compliance, access, awareness, education, and response in alignment with federal and state discrimination and harassment laws as well as related University regulations and policies. Oversight includes regulations and policies regarding sexual misconduct, protected class discrimination and harassment.Provides oversight of response and resolution to all reports of sexual misconduct, (including Title IX and non-Title IX), protected class discrimination and harassment, and related misconduct.Identifies and addresses systemic problems relating to complaints pursuant to Title VI, Title VII, and Title IX, and ADA while working with appropriate university departments to ensure Title IX and University law and policies related to sexual misconduct are communicated to all constituencies.As the Compliance Liaison, execute, administer, and facilitate oversight of the University's compliance framework, which includes the responsibility of disseminating compliance and ethics communications, assisting in the university-wide risk identification process, conducting unit level compliance risk assessments annually, entering and compliance policies, provide data for benchmarking and BOT reports, and provide feedback to enhance program effectiveness.Oversees and provides guidance to ADA personnel regarding disability accommodations and accessibility issues to ensure compliance with ADA laws and related university regulations, policies, and procedures.Provides leadership to a team of professionals.Serves as the central point of coordination for Title IX compliance among University offices and committees with responsibilities relating to Title IX and institutional leadership on matters related to discrimination, harassment, and Title IX.Oversees the development, implementation, and review of educational programs, practices, and initiatives designed to educate and support the University community regarding their rights and obligations to ensure compliance with Title IX, related federal and state laws and University policies and regulations.Serve as advisory board member of units across institution.Performs essential duties in any emergencies such as hurricanes, public health emergencies, and/or any other university emergency closing. The employee is expected to be available to report to work as needed during university emergency closing with appropriate notification of a department administrator.Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field and 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources or EEO practices OR Master's degree in related field and 6 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources or EEO practices.Desired Qualifications
