As a NEMT Driver, you will ensure clients safely reach their medical appointments on time, providing door-to-door service with a focus on comfort and empathy.Driver Requirements: Be at least 23 years old. Must have or upgrade to class E driving license. Pass a comprehensive Background Check. Complete Pre-Hire Drug and Alcohol Screening.Responsibilities: Provide timely, safe, and courteous transportation services to medical appointments. Assist clients as needed, including help with entering and exiting the vehicle and navigating to and from the door of their destination. Maintain accurate logs of travel activities, including pick-up and drop-off times and mileage. Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and well-maintained, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols. Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare providers, and the Zoom Ride Health dispatch team. Comply with all traffic regulations and Zoom Ride Health's policies and procedures.Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Ability to operate a smartphone and use the Zoom Ride Health driver application. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service. Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to assist others. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.
