Ramboll is seeking a highly motivated Consultant or Senior Consultant to join Ramboll's Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Due Diligence Practice based in the Boston, Westford, or Amherst, Massachusetts, or Portland, Maine offices. To succeed in this role you must have a BS or MS (or similar) in Environmental, Chemical, Geological or other related Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science and 3 - 7 years of relevant work experience. As our new M&A Due Diligence Consultant or Senior Consultant, you will be part of our growing team of New England based due diligence and ESG practitioners engaging with other business and technical professionals. You will work with all levels of technical expertise, from entry level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their own fields. You will engage in a continual learning environment through coaching, mentoring, and on the job tasks. You will split your time between office-based work, including writing reports, and site visits (including some travel). Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Conducting environmental due diligence for industrial and commercial transactions, including standard Phase I Environmental Site Assessments consistent with ASTM standards and custom reports tailored to client-specific needs. Conducting limited environmental compliance reviews for industrial facilities. Conducting ESG reviews as part of merger and acquisition due diligence projects. Preparing concise reports that assess potential environmental liabilities and compliance at manufacturing facilities. Providing general environmental compliance support to clients across a variety of regulatory program areas including hazardous waste, wastewater/stormwater discharges, air emissions, chemical/spill prevention, and community right-to-know regulations. Providing assistance to industrial clients with other regulatory compliance matters, including permit transfers, environmental reporting, and environmental permitting. Traveling to facilities for site visits, including both local and non-local travel (using social distancing procedures and other COVID-19 precautions as appropriate). Supporting multiple projects and meet high quality standards on project deliverables. Following corporate health and safety standards. Your starting point for constant growth

Interest specifically in environmental due diligence that is based on three to seven years of primarily due diligence experience. Strong technical skills and experience writing technical reports. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong work ethic and passion for producing high quality work and continual improvement. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to travel approximately 20% per month. Travel is typically of short duration (1-2 days) and may be local or throughout the US, depending on project needs (must have a valid driver's license). Welcome to our Environment & Health division
