Senior Accountant3 Month AssignmentHybrid Role - 3x per week onsite in San Mateo, CAPay up to $83 per hour w2The Senior Accountant will work within the Finance and Accounting team to support the month-end closing process. The primary responsibility will be in the area of Asset accounting. The candidate must be self-driven and have a strong understanding of accounting principles, must be able to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Recent SAP experience is strongly preferred. The responsibilities listed below are not all inclusive and additional duties may be assigned.Responsibilities

Perform CIP analysis and work closely with businessMaintain fixed asset within SAP which includes recording additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation in accordance with company policiesPrepare Fixed Asset roll forward schedules and reconciliationsPrepare journal entries, account analysis and reports related to Fixed assets, intangible assets and prepaidsPrepare Prepaid roll forward schedule and reconciliationsRespond to inquiries from businesses regarding accounting activities, reports and other supportResearch discrepancies if any and correct variancesAccounting support on other assigned areasSupport the financial close process in line with close schedule & tight deadlines (WD3)Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and FinanceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting or finance related disciplineCPA or International Equivalent, with SOX experience preferredRecent experience with SAP strongly preferredSolid understanding of US GAAPExcellent analytical skills with ability to independently and efficiently researchAdvanced Excel skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment within tight deadlines.Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
