The OpportunityThis Sr. Reliability Engineer position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where we're focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.The Senior Reliability Engineer’s job duties consist of three primary aspects: performing failure analysis investigation on returned ADC products, supporting small to medium-sized projects, and performing sustaining activities.What You'll Work OnPerform failure analysis investigations in a timely manner.

Support driving small to medium projects to completion either independently or under the direction of a Supervisor.

Support sustaining activities such as process improvement and/or tooling updates.

Provide assistance and guidance for other engineers in the lab.

Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Min 5 yrs of experience in any industry but must be in a QA role; Med Dev strongly preferred.

Preferred QualificationsExperience performing product failure analysis.

Engineering background to support technical investigations, preferably electrical or mechanical engineering.

Substantial demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills; critical thinking skills.

Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.

Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
