Director, Corporate FP&A:
The Director – Corporate FP&A supports the CFO, SVP Global FP&A, and VP Strategic Planning to deliver consolidated forecasting, reporting, and business analysis with integrity. This position designs and administers the process, consolidation, and review of the Global Forecast, Budget, Strategy, and Management Reporting. The position is responsible for working across global finance teams and functional leaders to deliver key business insights and analysis to Excom, ownership, and the board of directors, including business results, outlook, M&A, and costs. The position partners with finance-technology teams on use of forecasting tools across field FP&A teams. The position partners with Executive Committee members and their direct reports on critical initiatives. The role will collaborate with multiple local and international teams, including Finance Leadership functions (business development, Tax, and Controllership), identify key drivers of success, and meet deadlines while living the mission and values of Univar Solutions. This position reports to the VP Finance – Strategic Planning.
What You'll Do:
Excom, Ownership, and Board of Directors Reporting - Weekly/Monthly
Strategic Partnership with Excom & Direct Supports to get results
Direct Finance-Technology teams on field use of forecasting tools
Cross Functional Forecasting Requirements (Tax, Controllership, HR)
Team Development and People Management
What You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from a fully accredited four year institution is required
Minimum 8+ years of relevant Business, Finance, and/or Accounting experience (CPA/MBA a plus)
Minimum 5+ years of report writing/development from multidimensional databases
Extensive experience with Enterprise Finance Systems (Onestream, SAP)
Demonstrates ability to collaborate with and influence executive and finance leadership
Disciplined financial and analytical skills. Curious, inquisitive, driven learner.
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and broader Microsoft Suite
Strong interpersonal skills. Willing and able to be trained, coached, and developed
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle diverse and significant workload
Diligent and deadline sensitive
Past experience working in a multi-cultural and global environment preferred
Must be proficient in Microsoft office and have strong writing/communication skills

This is a hybrid based role that will report out of our Corporate Headquarters in Downers Grove, IL
