Full-timeDepartment: Enterprise ApplicationsVersion 1’s market-leading Enterprise Applications Practice specializes in Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Payroll Solutions with over 650 Oracle Specialists across the UK, Ireland, US, Australia, India, and Slovenia.We deliver consulting and managed services to transform and optimize ways of working for more than 230 customers through the provision of specialist knowledge right across the Oracle product stack – Oracle Fusion Cloud for ERP, HCM and EPM, eBusiness Suite, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft, and Hyperion, not to mention extensive expertise in Analytics, Infrastructure, and Integration.Our Oracle Fusion Cloud team has grown significantly over the past 3 years powered by recent business wins including Galliford Try, Bank of England, An Post, Inizio Health, Birmingham City Council, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and QBE Insurance.We have an exciting growth strategy that will see further rapid growth and an opportunity to drive value for our customers into 2024 and beyond.Responsibilities
Defining business requirements, running workshops, conducting business analysis, providing input to system specifications, gap analysis between requirements and JDE functionalityDocumenting business processesPlanning, designing, and testing interfaces and reports for complex JDE applicationsConsulting with users, technology liaisons, applications support personnel, and developers when researching solutionsGathering location requirements for specific JDE functional areas and performing system configuration, setup, site reviews; support prototype and integrated systems testing, Key and End User training, go-live activities, and post-go-live supportProviding functional/application support for project-related activities in accordance with the project methodologyAdhering to Version 1 standards and policiesAssisting in the support and training of fellow colleaguesRemaining product knowledge currentMinimum Requirements
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in ERP implementations, upgrades, and knowledge and experience with multiple JDE modules with experience of at least 1 full upgrade or implementation project lifecycleStrong JD Edwards (JDE) Finance skills, with other areas such as Distribution Modules desirableExperience in JD Edwards 9.2 User Experience (UX), Pages, and UDOsA background in AccountancyAble to identify and solve problemsA passion for Service Improvement. Innovative thinker; able to turn customer requirements into workable solutionsFlexible but methodical and thorough approach; excellent organizational and analytical skills, process-orientedStrong business process knowledgeAble to demonstrate experience in a similar roleExcellent time management skills; able to work under pressure, can meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, solution-driven environmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels (internal & external). Excellent spoken and written English.Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential informationWhy Version 1?
