The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) School of Dentistry at New Orleans seeks nominations and applications for the position of Chair, Department of Pediatric Dentistry, a full-time tenure track position at the assistant professor or greater level. The Chair is an integral part of the School of Dentistry’s Leadership team, associated with four critical areas of responsibility: pre-doctoral education, advanced education, scholarly activity, and patient care. Responsibilities include departmental planning, budgeting, staffing, and supervision. This position reports to the Dean of the School of Dentistry. Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with training and experience. Qualification Requirements:

Candidates must possess highly developed academic leadership skills and academic credentials. Applicants must have a D.D.S. / D.M.D. degree or equivalent, completion of an A.D.A. accredited advanced education program in Pediatric Dentistry, and certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
