Come join our team and be a part of history as we deliver results for the largest cloud services company on Earth!Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly effective candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative technology to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world.This individual will lead the technical sourcing of Integrated Circuits and Interconnects needed for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies that meet our customers' rapidly growing infrastructure needs. Successful candidates will bring strong knowledge of Semiconductor supply chains, electrical/mechanical connectors & cables, and proven ability to manage complex negotiations, program manage cross-functional teams, and effectively operate at any level of the organization (up to senior executives).Key job responsibilities:Develop and implement Integrated Circuit and Interconnect supply chain strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.Understand industry and technology trends.Identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives in those products.Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders.Develop negotiations strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.Provide weekly core-team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, and will be responsible for vendor escalations in order to resolve any issues related to his/her category.Present to senior leadership via written narratives.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience- 5+ years of professional or military experience- Bachelor's degree- 5+ years working with the electronics industry in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or engineering fields.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements- 5+ years of responding to requests for proposals (e.g., determining requirements, matching requirements to technical approach and solutions, developing solutions against requirements) experience- 5+ years of experience in Semiconductor and/or PC Industry development and/or manufacturingAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.Posted:
