WHO YOU ARESenior Contracts Negotiator working under the TLS LoB supporting the Air and Commercial Solutions (ACS) Market Segment. Main contracts support will fall within the F-16 Portfolio, though may be asked to support other portfolios within the ACS Market Segment.
Responsibilities:- Assisting in creating contracts, developing negotiation, ensuring contract compliance and efficient contract administration.- Establishing and maintaining excellent customer relations, both internally and externally.- Advising management of contract matters and risks; compiling and analyzing data; and maintaining historical information.- Managing and participating in and/or conducting contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities.- Participating in proposal preparation by reviewing proposal request terms, conducting risk analysis, and assisting in developing mitigation strategies for proposal submittals.- Evaluating contract performance to resolve necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, compliance to contractual obligations, and contract close-out.

Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Multiple years of professional experience.- Federal contracting, negotiation, and administration experience with USG DoD contracts.- Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) a plus.- Experience in Contracts.- Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. This requires US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:- Experience with all phases of proposal development, contracts negotiation and administration.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Knowledge of various contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP, FPIF, T&M, OTA).- Ability to work independently and task-oriented with attention to detail.- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.- Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written and verbal.- Complete understanding and application of government contracting principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
