You will be part of a world-class Data Science team that leverages data to drive insights about our products and customers. The Data Science team partners closely with various teams across Atlassian to drive and influence product investments.In this role, you will:

Collaborate on product and business problems with cross-functional partners and become a trusted strategic partner.Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis and experimentation to develop strategies for the business.Develop hypotheses through analytical approaches and test them using various methodologies.Define and test opportunities to improve products and influence roadmaps through insights.Partner with teams to inform, influence, and execute strategic decisions.Identify and measure the success of product efforts through monitoring key product metrics.Use data to shape product development and ensure value delivery.Communicate insights broadly, including to company leadership teams.Help structure, build, and grow teams of Data Scientists.Coach your team in technical, analytical, and soft skills.Minimum Qualifications / Your background:

8+ years of experience in analytics or related fields.2+ years of experience managing teams of 4+.Advanced proficiency in SQL and knowledge of another data science programming language (e.g., Python, R).Proficiency in at least one analytics & visualization tool such as Tableau, Mode, or Looker.Expertise in applying a broad variety of statistical concepts to business problems.Proven experience influencing business strategy and driving change through clear communication of data-driven insights.Desired Qualifications

Comfort with structuring and coaching others through open-ended business questions.Experience building trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders.Compensation

At Atlassian, we design equitable and competitive compensation programs. The baseline of our range is higher than the typical market range. Base pay within the range is determined by a candidate's skills and experience. In the United States, our current base pay ranges for new hires are:Zone A: $201,300 - $268,400Zone B: $181,200 - $241,600Zone C: $167,100 - $222,800This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.About Atlassian
