He/She will develop an annual strategy that identifies and pursues the most strategic event and brand activation opportunities for the organization, coordinating and elevating the organization’s brand presence and visibility at these events, managing the logistical planning, and facilitating best-in-class execution. The Events and Conference Strategist will also coordinate with various departments to understand their event schedules and needs, managing World Relief’s involvement in selected events, and ensuring all necessary materials are available.Role & ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Event Strategy and PlanningCreate an annual event and conference strategy that aligns with organizational goals to amplify the brand and drive donor acquisition.Work with Marketing, SED, & Advocacy departments to develop a speakers bureau for the organization and identify spokespeople/representatives to attend events.Work with relevant stakeholders to develop an influencer strategy for the organization and begin planning high-visibility events.Work with Marketing Leads to integrate event strategy into a comprehensive audience engagement/donor journey.Actively pursue mainstage speaking opportunities at identified 'Tier 1 conferences and events.'Event Management and ExecutionPlan and manage World Relief’s participation in events, including logistics, representation, and promotional materials.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding at events.Routinely travel to conferences and events.Coordinate with Marketing divisions for event deliverables.Maintain a calendar of events and conferences.Coordination and BudgetCoordinate with International Programs, Advocacy, Church & Community Engagement, and other departments to understand their event schedules and determine where World Relief can get involved.Work with warehousing and swag vendors to ensure the right materials are sent to each conference.Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective strategies.Maintain relationships with event organizers and partners.Post-event Follow Up Work with Marketing to develop post-event communication and audience journey for signups.Gather and analyze feedback from events to improve future participation.Work closely with the rest of the marketing team to promote events and World Relief’s involvement.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesPast experience in event planning and coordination is crucial.Strong project management skills.Fluent with Microsoft Office programs, Asana, and Google Drive.Knowledgeable in the use of AI as a tool to manage routine tasks and streamline processes.Comfortable in a fast-paced team environment, working with attention to detail and quality.Ability to meet deadlines and budget.Strong interpersonal skills and a disposition that is positive and professional.RequirementsMature and personal Christian faith.Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief.Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities.Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief's
