The Superintendent will be the direct first line supervisor with responsibility for employees involved with the installation, addition, alteration, and maintenance of commercial/industrial electrical construction projects. Per diem, travel expenses, tablet, and company vehicle provided.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for scheduling and direction of skilled trades on an electrical construction projectAbility to supervise and coach employee's quality and productivity in a professional mannerAbility to plan out work and ensure crew has proper materials, tools, and equipment requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manualsTime sheet managementAbility to manage and lead multiple crews simultaneouslyKeep project compliant with local and national electric codesMonitors work as performed, directs subordinate crews, and schedules work around other subcontractorsManages office correspondence and administrative paperworkDaily/Weekly reporting to Project manager or project teamResponsible for crew/project safety performanceRequirements:
Medium to large sized commercial/industrial electrical project experience is requiredDistribution center experience is a plusJourneyman's license and OSHA certification preferred10+ years' direct hands-on electrical field experience is requiredWillingness to travel highly valuedExcellent team management, reporting, and communication skills a plusAbility to train and coach employees as needed while maintaining a positive team-oriented environmentAbility to pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and drug screening
