ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains professional contacts with other companies, consultants, brokers, and HR professionals and support groups regarding HR issues.Manages confidential information and records.Plans, develops and directs HR programs and policies for the organization including partnering with senior management to set department goals and define priorities.Responsible for developing and managing the department budget on an annual basis.Develops and administers an effective performance management program.Develops and administers an effective talent acquisition program.Develops and administers an effective compensation strategy.Ensures effective and timely administration of benefits for all employees.Implement and maintain a consistent and effective progressive discipline strategy and practice.Maintain up-to-date and effective training for all departments ensuring compliance with all corporate policies.Develop and maintain effective employee communication programs using a variety of media including in-house publications and various electronic forms of communication.Supervises all HR staff by managing delegation of duties, work-loads, scheduling and opportunities for career advancement.Coordinate Employee Appreciation events and develop and manage effective employee recognition activities to increase employee engagement.Monitor turn-over and develop programs to increase retention.Oversee all employee relations investigations and respond to all third-party complaints.Ensure full compliance with all state and federal wage and hour laws.Monitors unemployment claims and appeals.Maintains strict confidentiality.Performs all responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations and state and federal laws and regulations.Performs other duties, including special projects as needed and directed.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:$80,000+ annually based on experience plus performance incentives.Full House Resorts offers all full-time employees and eligible family members a comprehensive and valuable benefits program that includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, 401k retirement plan which includes a matching contribution after one (1) year of service, a generous paid time off program, paid transportation from Colorado Springs, Woodland Park and Pueblo, free local gym membership, tuition reimbursement, fabulous resort perks, and more.Qualifications

Preferred Education

Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration or related field.Required Experience

5 years: Demonstrated experience managing successful teams.7-10 years: Demonstrated Human Resources management experience in compensation, benefits, recruitment and employment, training, employee relations, customer service, records maintenance, program development, implementation and administration. Demonstrated experience persuading and negotiating. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing and prioritizing work.
