You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services.RESPONSIBILITIES
Linguist will read, triage, review, summarize and translate large amounts of data in source language.The linguist will conduct supplementary research from foreign language sources on equipment and technologies identified.The linguist should have familiarity with tasking, data collection, and targeting.Linguist should either be a Native speaker or a level 4 in reading.Must be able to get along in a diverse team in a fast-paced environment with high stakes outcomes.Work will be performed during ordinary hours (e.g., 8-5) in an ordinary work week (Monday-Friday).REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.Bachelor’s degree desired.Translation into English.Collection from published, online and broadcast media.Monitoring published, online and broadcast media while identifying relevant content.Selection.Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise.Translation Related Services.Writing reports.PREFERRED SKILLS
