What you'll be doing:

This position is a mid-level Credit Review (CR) team member engaged in the Unit Review process and other supplemental duties. A primary responsibility is to work with large data sets to extract meaningful insights related to credit performance and have familiarity with basic Microsoft Excel data analysis tools including Pivot Tables, constructing charts, VLOOKUP formulas, and SUMIF formula. Candidate would be a data-driven professional with a solid foundation in credit analytics.

How you'll succeed:

Knowledge of credit is required regarding the assessment of the credit worthiness of commercial obligors through the review of various internal and external documents that address the business performance of the borrower; assessment of adherence to Credit Policy, credit process, and credit monitoring, as well as other written guidance directing the lending function. With the potential to review less complex individual credit relationships and assist more senior staff professionals; analysis/review of financial statements, comparing various performance metrics of a borrower against regulatory and internal risk rating guidelines; assessment of the sufficiency of risk identification and credit management by the lender; document well-organized and on-point analyses of the pertinent and potential risk issues; discuss results with the lender and, potentially unit management, in order to reach an accurate final risk assessment used to compile the overall assessment of the unit being examined. All underlying work is documented in a standard workpaper format with appropriate substantiating material.

Who you are:

Three to five years of data analytics/lending/credit/credit analysis experience that is banking or finance company related.
