The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in advising company leadership on resource allocation, overseeing budget planning, financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis. They serve as a financial advisor to the CEO and executive team for strategic planning purposes and are responsible for all facets of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, audit, insurance, and tax preparation. The Finance Manager is tasked with developing tracking methods for revenue and expenses to ensure financial transparency and efficiency.Job Description:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Analyze and present financial reports accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements effectively to stakeholders.Cash Flow Management:
Manage organizational cash flow and conduct cash flow forecasting to ensure liquidity and financial stability.Budgeting and Planning:
Lead the annual budgeting and planning process in collaboration with the CEO. Administer and review all financial plans and budgets, monitoring progress and changes to keep the senior leadership team informed.Audit Coordination:
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.Strategic Planning:
Actively participate in influencing company direction, growth, strategic planning, product development, acquisition integration, and financial forecasting as a member of the senior management team.Financial and Accounting Functions:
Oversee all financial and accounting functions, including policy development, implementation, financial system development, and management.Internal Controls:
Develop and manage internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.Team Leadership:
Provide oversight and mentorship to the accounting and finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Transaction Management:
Work with senior management on major transactions, including capital raises, debt, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures.Process Improvement:
Define standards, policies, procedures, measures, and organizational enhancements to meet company goals for finance. Develop and improve business processes for enhanced financial effectiveness and transparency.Financial Reporting Optimization:
Oversee and optimize financial reporting to management and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making throughout the company.Qualifications:
Experience:
5-8 years of experience in corporate finance, with a proven track record of success.Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Organizational Skills:
Well-organized and hardworking, with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure.Analytical Skills:
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Leadership Abilities:
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a strategic mindset and a bias for action.Team Orientation:
Ability to form strong working relationships with partners and employees while maintaining adherence to financial standards.Computer Proficiency:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Adaptability:
Thrive in a fast-paced business environment and adapt to changing priorities.Bilingual Skills:
