The

Regional Fund Development Manager

will work with team members togenerate revenue via a variety of non-profit revenue streams, including major gifts, recurring gifts, planned gifts, individual giving, corporate and foundation giving, memorials, third party fundraising events andsponsorship procurement. This position will also assist with the implementation and expansion of current nationally based campaigns within a particular region of the US.

Job Responsibilities

Drive, plan, and execute an ongoing, comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes audience and segmentation strategy - a diverse and sustainable mix of foundations, high net worth individual donors, sponsorships and other contributed revenue sourcesLead a team of volunteer support group leaders with a direct connection to the disease as they undertake advocacy, resource sharing and peer-to-peer fund development effortsCreate a donor retention culture and work closely with the VP of Fund Development in managing all stewardship and cultivation activitiesSupport the development of a philanthropic culture through communications support and operationalizing regional fundraising initiativesEmbrace a data-driven fundraising and engagement culture which includes utilizing CRM platformGenerate regular fundraising reports including weekly and monthly trend analysis and fulfilling formal reporting requirements with clear and accurate analysisLiaise with the finance and administrative teams to ensure all funds raised are stewarded appropriatelyCollaborate internally with the marketing team to develop and disseminate all fundraising collateral, such as thank you letters, annual reports, appeals, etc.Role Requirements

Knowledge and hands-on experience building donor acquisition and retention programsSuccess in developing and managing multi-year fundraising campaigns from concept to deliveryKnowledge/experience of national, regional, and local fundraising landscapeAt least 3 years of fundraising experience, running multi-segment revenue programsExperience using fund development databases / Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform(s)
