Under the direction of the Manager, Property Marketing the Supervisor, Property Marketing holds responsibility in managing all of the department's projects to ensure the timeliness, execution and project completion. The individual selected for this role also reviews all creative briefs for accuracy, in addition to performing daily property collateral audit walks for accuracy. The Supervisor, Property Marketing also collaborates, initiates, and supports opportunities with other functions by championing the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that faithfully reflects and upholds the Tribes vision, mission, and values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Manages the department's project tracker to ensure all project deadlines are met, in addition to ensuring that reporting staff's response rate is reasonable and that projects are opened, closed, and saved appropriately.

2. Reviews all creative briefs for accuracy and conciseness prior to Manager/Director's review.

3. Responsible for management of assigned projects from initiation to delivery.

4. Ensures that daily property collateral audit walks (of signs, flyers, digitals, collateral) reflect accurate placement and are current. Reviews website/social content for accuracy and content expiration.

5. Daily supervision of hourly staff (tracking time management, time in/time out, reviewing weekly timesheet for accuracy), including coaching, training, and trouble-shooting on projects.

6. Coordinates photo shoots, vendor visits, collateral deliveries, placing new and replacement orders.

7. Measures, analyzes, and evaluates local competition's programs and provide weekly reports.

8. Creates and updates department Stand Operating Procedures (SOP) and proactively leads coaching sessions when there is deviation.

9. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and assumes other responsibilities, duties, tasks and assignments that contribute to the mitigation or response to any public health emergency.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning reviewing and directing work; evaluating and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Makes hiring decisions and designs individual development plans with succession planning in mind for all key roles.

Education/Experience/Qualifications

Associate's degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or related field is required.

Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience required.

Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.

Project management or creative trafficking experience is required with the ability to think creatively and independently.

Excellent organization and written skills are required.

Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations

At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.

A qualified candidate/employee must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company's insurance carrier.
