Urgent Care Physician - Medical Director

Tanner Health System is seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine physician to serve as the Medical Director for our three Urgent Care practices. Position Highlights:Provide oversight to 3 locations: Carrollton, Villa Rica, and Bremen, GARole is designed to be 60% clinical and 40% administrativeParticipate in provider recruitment and orient new providersReview, sign and supervise APPsProvide chart reviews, corrective action, and provider performance reviewsAttend Tanner Medical Group provider meetings; facilitate internal staff meetings; effectively communicate clinical updates and procedural changes to all providersQualifications: Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine DOT Certification preferred Georgia Medical licensure or eligibilityTanner Medical Group, named one of the largest physician group practices in metro Atlanta, serves communities throughout Carroll, Douglas, Haralson, Heard, and Paulding counties in Georgia.
