Business Development Manager
based in the Columbus, OH, area. The Business Development Manager will initiate contact with potential business prospects, convert those leads into MRA members across Ohio, and develop and maintain strong relationships to provide effective solutions.As a Business Development Manager at MRA, you get to:Grow new memberships.Maintain high member retention.Market MRA services including HR business solutions, training and roundtables.Develop and maintain strong relationships with MRA members, potential members, and business networks to provide effective solutions to meet their business needs.Make outbound calls for grassroots prospecting and leads with follow-up calls to potential customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell new memberships and services.Partner with marketing to create regular campaigns for nurturing leads.
Minimum Qualifications:5-7 years of experience in sales/business development, association management, or human resource-related field.College degree preferred.Experience using CRM systems. Salesforce preferred.Valid Driver's license and the ability to travel throughout your territory, including visiting members at their locations, primarily in Ohio.
