Responsibilities Directs supervises delivers and evaluates patient care through the use of the nursing process. Maintains the standards of nursing care and practices consistent with the policies and procedures of the hospital and the Nursing Dept. Provides care primarily to the adult and geriatric populations however may care for selected pediatric patients as required. This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited RN program Current California Registered Nurse license (RG RN) Current AHA CPR certification (CT CPRBLS) Current AHA ACLS certification within six (6) months of hire (CT ACLS) Preferred Requirements: Minimum of one (1) year experience in acute care Special Skills: Demonstrated ability to assess patients and deliver care
