Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing systems that optimize our company's quality standards, improve our production processes, and enhance the overall efficiency of our operations. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge and expertise in non-conformances, Six Sigma methods, Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, corrective action, audits, and Quality Program Procedures to drive the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program that aligns with our company's objectives and industry standards.
  • Use Six Sigma methods and continuous improvement principles to identify areas of non-conformance and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that systems and processes comply with AS9100 and other relevant quality standards.
  • Develop and update Quality Program Procedures, ensuring they are effectively communicated and adhered to within the organization.
  • Collaborate with various teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for defects, non-conformities, or other quality failures, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare quality reports and metrics for management review, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Drive the development and implementation of quality training programs across the organization.
  • Participate in the review of engineering designs to ensure quality requirements are identified and met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within the Engineering industry.
  • Certification as an ASQ Quality Engineer and/or Quality Auditor is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with AS9100, Six Sigma, and other quality management systems.
  • Strong understanding of non-conformances, corrective action, and audits.
  • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in the use of quality tools and software applications.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high quality standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
