**The Opportunity**

Hello Sunshine is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Social Assistant to join the Reese's Book Club team in Los Angeles.

The Social Media Assistant will be responsible for creating, editing, posting, and community management across the Reese's Book Club social media channels with the rest of the team. The Social Media Assistant will ensure content aligns with the brand voice and resonates with our audience, collaborating closely with various teams to support social media strategy, campaigns, and tactical plans to achieve our business and social objectives.

**What You Will Do:**

- Work on creation and editing (in Premiere Pro) for content across designated Reese's Book Club social media channels, ensuring content is timely, engaging, and aligns with Hello Sunshine voice and objectives.

- Contribute to the look and aesthetics of organic and branded content produced for Reese's Book Club channels.

- Serve as a voice of the Reese's Book Club channel, delivering an authentic, audience-centric content experience that fosters engagement and loyalty.

- Support the development and execution of social media strategy, campaigns, and tactical plans.

- Ideate, author, and oversee the creation of social media content, collaborating with account and client leads as necessary.

- Write and edit post copy, ensuring all content is aligned with Reese's Book Club guidelines and strategy, and route assets for internal stakeholder approval.

- Collaborate with Hello Sunshine Partnerships and Film/TV teams to support initiatives, events, and tentpoles as needed.

- Stay informed about emerging social media platforms, best practices, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.

- Monitor industry trends, relevant news, and competitive landscape to increase Hello Sunshine's share of voice in the social media space.

**Requirements:**

- Background in digital video editing, specifically in Premiere Pro.

- Content creation experience either personally, for school, or professionally.

- Experience in social media management.

- Understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and best practices.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
