Adams Street Partners is actively seeking a talented Associate to join its Investor Relations team. This position will provide a superior level of service/support to our prospective and existing clients by creating and coordinating effective communications and data. Given our collaborative culture, this role requires exceptional organizational and client servicing skills, with the ability to successfully manage competing priorities. The ideal candidate is someone who naturally possesses an infectious enthusiasm for his/her work and exudes positivity with an insatiable desire to learn our business and support others.

This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, with a flexible mix of remote and office work.

Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

Prepare and deliver customized client-facing materials in response to prospective and existing client requests

Ensure the timely delivery of standard and customized data and reporting requests

Assist with maintenance and updates to internal database (Dynamo) in order to track and leverage data to provide the most effective follow-up relative to each request

Serve as the point person for the Investor Portal (access to investor portal, data entry) and participation in maintenance (updating client records)

Create existing and prospective client presentations, letters, and other types of client related communications

Collaborate with teams across the firm to ensure accurate and prompt follow-up to ad hoc projects

We seek an individual who is self-disciplined, demonstrates creative thinking and has the following characteristics:

Bachelor’s degree with a proven record of academic success.

1-3 years’ professional experience, ideally with a business/operational focus.

Strong project management skills with high attention to detail.

Strong and well developed analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills. Ability to synthesize technical data and translate it to reach the target audience.

Technically proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Salesforce a plus.

A professional presence combined with exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external parties.

A highly-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team context.
