The BRAC Events Manager plans, organizes, and executes a wide range of events, managing all logistics to deliver seamless and memorable experiences for attendees.ResponsibilitiesEvent Strategy & Execution – 60%

Create innovative event themes that align with event objectives and attract target audiencesOversee the design and execution of events, including layout, flow, lighting, décor, menu, entertainment, and signage, for a diverse range of events and programsDevelop and manage BRAC’s annual event schedule to ensure strategic planning and optimal resource allocationLead the logistics and coordination for familiarization tours aimed at showcasing the Baton Rouge Area to business prospectsManage event registration processes using BRAC’s CRM/events management softwareSelect, negotiate with, and oversee vendorsCoordinate and manage staffing needs for event execution, including recruiting and assigning duties to staff and volunteersProvide internal support and collaboration for all departments' event-related activitiesBudgeting – 20%Develop event budgets and manage income and expensesDevelop sponsorship packages with the Investor Relations teamReview invoices for accuracy and process for paymentEvent Marketing & Communications – 10%Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling event marketing materialsMaintain and update event information on the BRAC website and other relevant platformsCollect and analyze data on event attendance and engagement to refine future marketing strategiesMaintain clear and consistent communication with event stakeholders, including vendors, sponsors, and attendeesManage post-event communications, including thank-you messages and feedback surveysGuest Services - 10%Assist guests with event registration and check-in processesAddress and resolve any guest inquiries or issues promptly and effectivelyEnsure that guests receive accurate information about the event schedule, location, and other relevant detailsProvide on-site support and assistance to guests throughout the eventCollect and incorporate guest feedback to improve future eventsOther duties as assigned.Qualifications
