As a Delivery Driver/Installer, you'll be the face of our company, delivering and installing merchandise directly to our valued customers. You'll be responsible for not only logistics but also customer service, ensuring each delivery leaves a lasting positive impression. Your role will combine professional driving with hands-on installation of large appliances, all while maintaining a courteous and ethical demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver & Install:

Safely deliver ,and potentially install, merchandise to customers' home or business with utmost care and consideration, ensuring all products are hooked up according to installation instructions.Follow the delivery schedule:

It is your responsibility to get the delivery to the customer on time and in good condition.Customer Service:

Provide superior customer service by maintaining professional communication and a positive attitude with customers and team members.Think ahead:

Be prepared to do your job well. Think of ways to improve your efficiency and share these ideas with others.Safety & Compliance:

Operate delivery vehicles safely and courteously, follow all traffic laws, and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.Product Handling:

Load and secure merchandise to prevent damage during transport and delivery.Warehouse Assistance:

Support warehouse operations by preparing and distributing merchandise, as well as maintaining cleanliness and order.Problem Reporting:

Immediately report any damaged or missing merchandise, customer complaints, traffic citations, accidents or injuries to your supervisor.Minimum Qualifications:

Commercial Driver's License:

Must hold a valid CDL with a good standing record.Physical Fitness:

Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds without restriction.Certification:

Lift gate certification may be required.Background Check:

Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal/theft background check.Additional Responsibilities:

Attend training meetings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.Wear company uniforms or adhere to the company dress code, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.Properly dispose of packing materials, debris, and appliances as directed.

As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.

You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.

Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
