Insight Global is looking for a GIS Specialist role for one of our large engineering clients. Position job will be a great first step into electric distribution and will provide a valuable foundation for a career in the power delivery industry. Please see some of the job responsibilities below
- Work as member of Joint USE/Fiber Make Ready Team to do GIS data collection and make education design suggestions based on field data.
- This individual will use a hasting stick to measure Joint Use attachment heights & utility-owned distribution lines/attachments.
- Data will be collected using Leidos proprietary software to update utilities GIS and make design determinations.

- Previous distribution knowledge - Engineering Tech. Degree or Bachelor's degree in a GIS, scientific or equivalent discipline
- Esri's ArcGIS suite or other GIS software
