Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice (Near Seattle, WA)
Are you a dedicated Family Physician seeking a dynamic locum tenens opportunity in a thriving community near Seattle, WA?
We're looking for a qualified and experienced physician to join our team and provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This is a locum tenens position with a start date as soon as credentialing is complete, offering a 3-month contract with the possibility to extend.
What We Offer:Schedule:
Full-time Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week) with an unpaid lunch break.Patient Care:
Be prepared to see up to 21 patients daily, with potential for more depending on cancellations. We require a physician comfortable with a high-volume environment and experience working with all ages, from newborns to geriatrics.Supportive Team:
Each provider benefits from a dedicated medical assistant, with access to receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, and on-site pediatricians (in most clinics). A local healthcare administrator will handle your timecards.Diverse Patient Population:
We serve a thriving community with a significant migrant and refugee population. Interpretive services are available on-site. Fluency in Spanish is a requirement for this position, with additional languages being a valuable asset.Technology:
We utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for efficient patient care.Procedures:
You will perform common procedures like injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.Travel & Compensation:
We offer a competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits (details provided during the interview) and will cover your travel expenses (flight, rental car/mileage, and lodging).Qualifications:
Board certification in Family Medicine (BC) or Osteopathic Family Medicine (BE) requiredActive WA medical license requiredActive WA DEA license requiredMinimum of 2 years' experience as a Family Physician with recent patient care experienceClean background check and no malpractice historyExperience with the EPIC electronic medical record system is mandatoryFluency in Spanish is a requirementBLS, ACLS, or other relevant certifications preferred (details discussed during credentialing)Ability to integrate quickly with a 1-week orientation and begin seeing patients by day 3Experience working with vulnerable populations and a passion for serving under-resourced communities are highly valuedTo Apply:
